FWIW I lived in So. Cal in the 70's. At that time the areospace and aircraft industries were booming. My father in law worked at Rockwell as an engineer. There were two places that a lot of his friends and coworkers wanted to move to after they retired. one was Fallbrook, the other Lake Havasu. Being engineers they of course appreciated the best sound from their HI FI gear. I have seen alot of the JBL, Altec over the years for sale from these areas.
